IN-PERSON HOME BUYER EDUCATION CLASSES CANCELLED FOR REMAINDER OF THE 2021 YEAR

 

 

Because of the continued infection rate of Covid in Montana, the Bitter Root RC&D is cancelling its in-person Home Buyer Education classes from October on. The next class has not been determined, but will be in 2022.

 

Bitter Root RC&D is offering on-line classes instead, followed by a 1.5 hours counseling session over the phone. Partial scholarships will be made available.

 

To participate in the online classes, please contact HUD Certified Housing Counselor Sara Ann Briggs at sabriggs10@gmail.com or call the administrative offices at 406-363-5450. A registration packet and link to access the class will be sent to you.

 

Attendees must complete the entire series of modules and participate in a one-on-one intake and financial counseling session to qualify for the course certificate. This fulfills the education requirement of government insured or funded loans such as VA, FHA, MT Housing, NeighborWorks, USDA Rural Direct and Guarantee, e.g.
